What makes a book a good book?

For me, it’s one that is worth reading more than once. It’s the book that you keep picking up because it was such a thrill or you learn something new every time you read it. Honestly, I read so many books in college and never had time to pick up a “fun” book. There were a few, but, these days I cherish the few quiet moments before bed or early in the morning to read something. Most of the time, I start with my Bible but as far as other books go I have a few favorites.

Some books are just for fun and others are helping me grow in areas I need to mature in. I will try my best to either link or have a picture of the books I’m reading in here so y’all can check them out, if you want.

I appreciate reading more now than I have in past years and my kids and husband love to learn through books. In fact, my oldest, Nicole, told me the other day she wanted to learn about venomous snakes or something along those lines so she said “we need to get a book to learn about it, mom!” I love it.
